Boat Rental in Galicia: our Yacht
- An elegant 42 footer Oceanis Clipper 423 for cruising Galicia -
The most common in sailboats similar to ours, 42 foot, is to admit up to 11 people on board. We think that less is more and therefore,
for sailing day trips where you don't spend the night on the boat we reserve a maximum of 8 seats .
On sailing trips in Galicia of at least 2 days , in which you spend the night on board, we reduce this number to only 4 people
distributed in the two aft double cabins.
Only when a group of friends or a family wants to rent the entire boat, we enable the two additional seats in the lounge bed to allow
six people to spend the night on board.
The result is more space, comfort and safety for everyone on the boat, whether in the cockpit, the living room, deck, or simply to maneuver or
manage the supplies; and naturally without this having an impact on a higher price.
A very seaworth sailboat: safe, large and comfortable
The sails maneuver is very simplified, with furling main, genoa and stormsail, and all its
maneuver forwarded to the cockpit.
It also has an electric winch , very useful to reef the main sail quickly,
climb the mast, or hoist the dinghy onto the deck.
For days without wind, we have a Volvo D255 engine, reliable, powerful and rigorously maintained.
And for maneuvering in port, the bow thruster facilitates docking in tight spaces.
In the last 15 years we have happily sailed around 20,000 miles across the Atlantic and the Mediterranean:
Portugal, Morocco, Balearic Islands, Sardinia, Corsica, Sicily, the Tuscan Archipelago,
the Ionian Islands, the Cyclades, the Dodecanese and Turkey have been some of our destinations.
The approximate equivalent of a trip around the world!

A sailing boat to enjoy
with cozy wood interiors
The living room - galley is spacious and very bright.
The abundant amount of wood-mahogany, typical of classic boats and scarce in the most current models that use more inexpensive plastic materials
help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The two aft cabins are commensurate with the size of a 13-meter sailboat: spacious enough for two adults to sleep comfortably, with three hatches each for good
outside ventilation, and a 220V socket to use when the ship is in port. The table in the living room can be quickly converted into a double bed.
It also has two bathrooms with a hot and cold shower (in addition to the outdoor shower over the bathtub).
The wide aft platform, with the ladder, facilitates the dips from the boat, and even a multiple shower!
The forward deck is flat and clear, perfect as a solarium or simply to enjoy sailing or anchoring.
The cockpit, also very spacious, accommodates up to eight people in total comfort.
The condition of the hull, as seen in the photos above, is excellent. We have completely renovated it in 2017, both the above water line, which
has been repainted, as well as the under water line which has been stripped and reprimed.
It is very well equipped and thoroughly maintained, both in terms of security measures and electronics for navigation: plotter and radar
repeaters in the cockpit and chart table, AIS, dual VHF stations, GPS's and triplicated cartography, radio beacon, in addition to the mandatory safety
equipment on board.
We also have a dinghy with outboard engin to go ashore when we are anchored.
Well equipped,
rigorously maintained,
and very safe
Turquesa Soul
... I don't know what this boat has that imbues those who arrive with a fabulous positive, caring and generous spirit.
A spirit that flows ...
Or maybe it is just the opposite, so many positive, supportive and generous people have stayed here, that life on board this sailboat
could not be otherwise ...
